After Teaching art foundation for three years at Trinity Episcopal Church in Southport, Connecticut, Albert served as designer of women's shoes for Nine West and contracted for Cahrles Jordan, Ives St. Laurent and designed an original line for Gap Shoes.

In 1992, he ventured to focus on multi-media art, including oil, watercolor, clay, mixed-media collage and sculptures.  He has held solo exhibitions  through the Stamford Art Association and the Silver Mines Art Association in Connecticut, and more recently, a multimedia exhibit at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC.

During his residence in the Washington District of Capitol Hill, Albert was an instructor of junior-high level art foundation classes for the Childrens Art Museum.  He curently paints independent works on commission in oil and watercolor for select clients nationally, and enjoys spending time with his  Labrador  Retriever, Guther and his Papillon, Satine.
"I wanted to execute in oil a painting of a Papillon reminescent of those commissioned much in the style of Louis XVI's Spaniel dogs, yet at the same time using a lighter, freer brush stroke which suggests an impressionistic feeling in an attempt to give the Renaissance style a more contemporary mood."
